Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for achieving and growing total revenue and extended service sales in assigned territory. Assists in advancing revenue and market position consistent with Company goals.
- Responsible for complete territory analysis and planning to ensure revenue goals are achieved
- Know products and capabilities and recognize market and customer dynamics and drivers
- Meet or exceed orders budget for an assigned geographic territory and/or named accounts
- Identify new opportunities, applications, segments, and markets for products and services
- Build strong relationships with customers at multiple levels in the organization
- Work as a team with other Sales Territory Managers to grow the total business
- Build relationships with all internal functional groups
- Develop and execute strategies for territory and specific accounts
- Identify, collect, and disseminate sales best practices, customer requirements, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement of business
- Establish sales goals and specification objectives to meet company sales budget
- Demonstrate the ability to address each customer's and partner's unique inquiry, while providing them with the proper information and appropriate solution based on the customer's specific needs and interests
- Responsible for hiring and retaining a diverse, highly qualified staff and for providing career coaching, growth, and personal development
- Responsible for the development of staff: critiques, instructs, mentors, evaluates and coaches. Accountable for the performance of subordinates or the work output of managed subcontractors
- Maintains a safe working environment and a strong customer focus. Models optimum leadership competencies to inspire an energized, empowered and accountable workforce, ethical behavior.
- Keeps abreast of day-to-day problems of sales representatives through continuous verbal and written contact, and follows up to assure solutions are achieved
