We are looking for a senior software engineer or project manager who is willing to direct our client’s web and software development teams. This department will be in direct communication with digital marketing, data analytics and growth hacking teams. The manager will be also responsible for leading and supporting a team of junior engineers to develop an ERP customized for our production house. The ideal candidate has an extensive knowledge in designing and developing softwares and also comes with strong leadership skills to help him/ her to push the team towards the objectives of the company

Key Responsibilities/Skills:  

1. Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
2. Support and lead software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
3. Grow engineering teams by interviewing, recruiting and hiring.
4. Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
5. Understand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them
6. Monitoring and evaluating staff performance.
7. Working closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network.
8. Monitors the progress and work flow of the technical department personnel, resolves challenges whenever possible and reports progress or needs to management.       

Skills Required:

1. Degree in computer science or related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in software development and 3 yrs in team leadership.
3. Fluent with functional, imperative and object-oriented languages; knowledge of Java, Scala, or JavaScript would be especially useful.
4. Experience with the .Net framework is a huge plus.
5. Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems.
6. Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
7. Expertise in data center management and data governance is a plus.
8. Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
9. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
