Listed below are some key points for the position of Android Developer
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Write technical documentation
Skillset Required:
Following skills are required for the position of Android Developer
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any similar subject
- Android development skills and experience in software development
- Android app development experience
- Experience in publishing an Android app on Google Play
- Android SDK experience
- Working experience with JSON and data via REST
- Working experience with APIs and third-party libraries including Payment Gateways.
- Experience in agile/scrum methodology preferred
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, mobile architectures, trends and landscapes
- Solid understanding of mobile development life cycle
- Knowledge in JIRA preferred
