Responsibilities and Duties
Listed below are some job responsibilities of Application Packaging Engineer.
- Rework/upgrade/enhance existing installation packages
- To bind the relevant files and components to build a customized application for a customer.
- Design new installation packages
- Apply testing techniques and perform quality assurance processes to verify software installation packages work as designed
- Work, research, troubleshoot and analyze problems independently
- Prepare documentation for application packages
- Software Distributor & Installation & CD preparation
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Should have Experience in software support/packaging.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal instruction and supervision.
- Attention to detail as well as strong organizational, planning, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to produce concise and clear technical documentation.
