EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

  1. Master’s degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration is a must
  2. Other certifications related to the same field would be added advantage

Key Responsibilities/Skills:  

  1. Works under the direction of a marketing manager to help reach the company's marketing goals and objectives. Assist the Manager in overseeing the activities of the marketing team to ensure assigned tasks and set goals are achieved
  2. Collaborating with the internal teams like Sales, Quality, R&D departments and external vendors, clients and partners on marketing strategy to identify marketing trends and key opportunities for product development, innovation and new product introductions
  3. Learning and working with various types of software, clients, vendors for digital marketing on digital campaigns to target new prospects. Advise and develop social media strategies for the company to increase online visibility and authority
  4. Provide product support for customers on internet forums like Facebook, Instagram, Google and other web sites. Promote and distribute content on YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms as appropriate
  5. Develop product positioning and marketing strategy for the group's brands and submit ideas for experimental marketing programs designed to enhance and grow the company’s brand
  6. Monitor the performance of products in the market to modify marketing strategies where necessary
  7. Employ knowledge of company goals in carrying out marketing operations. Plan, organize, and implement a market survey to obtain data that provides insight into market trends and consumer requirements
  8. Interpret data obtained from market research/surveys to produce results useful in taking effective business decisions. Carry out demographic surveys to identify potential customers and to determine possible reception of a new product by a target market
  9. Support marketing manager in the development of pricing strategies to set suitable prices for products
  10. Assist in monitoring active marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns. Provide alternatives and/or adjust where necessary to achieve/ maintain a high return of investment (ROI)
  11. Prepare and present regular reports to the Marketing Manager on the results and activities of marketing teams. Report ROI and post-promotion analysis for all consumer promotions by utilizing data and financial analysis
  12. Giving presentations, maintaining a marketing database. Providing administrative support to the marketing and sales team
  13. Assist the Manager in overseeing the design and publication of promotional materials such as ad posts, website banners, hard copy brochures, Flyers, Billboards, Signs, Place-based Ads, Case studies, etc.
  14. Attend seminars and conferences to improve on existing job knowledge

Must have:

  1. 5 - 7 years of experience as a Senior/ Lead Marketing Professional with FMCG food products industries (mandatory)
  2. Proven track record in FMCG product branding, marketing, and sales results
  3. Demonstrable strong experience within digital marketing, creative agency, and corporate communications
  4. Strong business and financial acumen and the ability to link marketing strategy and results directly to overall business strategy and company financial goals
  5. A history of successful brand management, equity building, and proven experience creating and executing a campaign
  6. A track record of new product development with strong marketing and communications skills
  7. Strong analytical and project management skills
  8. Experience in strategic decision making, team building
