The Associate Vice President (AVP) – Relocation Services is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and service quality of relocation services. The AVP will manage a team of consultants, oversee client engagements, ensure service excellence, and contribute to business growth. This role involves refining processes, strengthening market presence, and delivering end-to-end destination services to expatriates and transferees relocating to Bangalore and other major cities in India.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Service Delivery Management

Oversee the complete lifecycle of destination services, including Pre-visit Programs, Area Orientation, Home Search, School Search, Settling-in Assistance, Departure Services, and Tenancy Management.

Ensure seamless service delivery that meets or exceeds client expectations, resulting in strong satisfaction and retention rates.

Customize relocation programs tailored to client requirements, budgets, and timelines.
Operational Excellence

Establish and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices across teams.

Monitor service metrics, team performance, and cost efficiency to identify areas for improvement.

Audit and maintain reporting systems and trackers to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
Stakeholder & Partner Coordination

Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Finance, Legal) to streamline cross-functional workflows.

Build and sustain relationships with external vendors, landlords, real estate agents, and government authorities.

Negotiate and finalize contracts with service partners, ensuring favorable terms and high-quality outcomes.
People Management & Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of consultants to ensure capability building and engagement.

Conduct regular performance reviews and support employee career growth.

Promote a culture of client-centricity, responsiveness, and ethical practices.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Real Estate, or a related field.

8–10 years of experience in relocation or global mobility, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of the Bangalore real estate market and local regulatory environment.

Proven expertise in managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex relocation programs.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Strong problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and stakeholder management capability.
Preferred Attributes

Certification in Global Mobility or Relocation Management (e.g., ERC GMS) is an advantage.

Experience in multinational organizations or fast-paced consulting environments.

Knowledge of expatriate compliance, visa, and immigration processes.
