Job Details:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Based at CHENNAI & covering territories up to Chengalpattu, Sholinganallur & Tiruporur.

Experience: 2+ Year

Salary:

Starting at Rs.18,000/- per month + conveyance allowance + Sales Incentive of min. 50% of salary upon achievement of the MINIMUM sales & collection target, as elucidated in the Company's Policy, with potential to earn more than the monthly salary if targets are met/exceeded, without any upper limit. Salary will be upgraded based on the basic performance.

Other Benefits: All personnel is covered for PF, ESI/Mediclaim and Personal Accident Insurance by the Company. TDS is deductible as per prevailing Laws.

Job Responsibilities:

Core key competencies to perform well in the Job of a Business Development Officer

  1. The candidate is responsible to cover the allocated Territories to prospect,
  2. Responsible to identify and canvass sales & ensure receivables of the Company's Roofing Products and Accessories, through Dealers, Fabricators, and Projects.
  3. Ready to accept the changes.
  4. The candidate must be target oriented
  5. Should be self-driven and motivated

Job Requirements:

  1. Any graduate or ITI with 2+ years’ experience.
  2. Freshers’ can also apply
  3. Area of experience - Interaction with Dealers, Fabricators & end-users.
  4. Must have Relevant field sales experience in a similar field; IE: Hardware or Building / Construction Materials.
  5. Must possess Two-wheeler (with valid License).
  6. Must have good knowledge of Tamil, with basic communication skills in English.
  7. Must travel extensively in the field.
  8. Must be a sound character.
  9. Must be Confident and Punctual of time
  10. Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  11. Candidate with immediate joining or short notice period will be highly preferred.

Key Skills:

  1. Must possess aptitude & demeanor for a sales job, with a pleasing, yet firm, personality.
  2. Must work under pressure to exceed targets.

Relevant Expertise

  1. Proven work experience as an HR Executive, HR Manager or similar role
  2. Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems
