We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. The CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, providing direction in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, compliance, investor relations, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with strong business acumen, proven expertise in real estate finance, and the ability to drive sustainable financial growth across projects and portfolios.

Job Details:
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with real estate development and investment objectives.

Advise the CEO and leadership team on capital structuring, project financing, and portfolio management.

Contribute to long-term planning for land acquisition, joint ventures, and asset monetization.
2. Project & Investment Financing
-
Structure and secure project-specific financing through banks, NBFCs, private equity, or joint ventures.

Build and manage financial models for development projects, acquisitions, leasing, and sales.

Maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial institutions while monitoring debt covenants.
3. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
-
Lead budgeting for real estate development, construction, and operational expenditure.

Forecast multi-project cash flows, timelines, and returns.

Provide ROI analysis for proposed developments or investments.
4. Financial Reporting & Compliance
-
Ensure accurate and timely reporting for projects, SPVs, and consolidated entities.

Oversee compliance with RERA, GST, Income Tax, and other real estate-related statutory requirements.

Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions for compliance and reporting.
5. Risk Management & Governance
-
Identify and mitigate financial, legal, and project-specific risks.

Implement internal controls and SOPs for financial discipline.

Monitor risk exposure in land acquisition, construction cost overruns, and receivables.
6. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
-
Manage project-wise cash flows to ensure timely funding of all operations.

Optimize treasury operations and monitor collections, disbursements, and surplus deployment.

Ensure robust receivables tracking from buyers, tenants, and leasing partners.
7. Investor Relations & Fundraising
-
Manage investor communications and reporting for institutional and HNI funds.

Prepare investment memorandums, pitch decks, and financial disclosures.

Oversee due diligence, data room management, and investor audits.
8. Taxation & Legal Compliance
-
Supervise direct and indirect taxation including GST, TDS, and capital gains.

Coordinate with legal teams on financial aspects of land/title due diligence and agreement structuring.

Review development agreements, sale deeds, and lease contracts.
9. Team Leadership
-
Lead and mentor teams across finance, accounts, compliance, and procurement functions.

Implement digital tools (ERP, project finance trackers) to enhance efficiency.

Ensure continuous upskilling on real estate-specific financial and regulatory practices.
10. Board & Stakeholder Engagement

Present financial performance updates to the board and stakeholders.
-
Support strategic initiatives such as REIT formation, IPO planning, and asset monetization.

Represent the organization in stakeholder and partner negotiations.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
-
Minimum 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or CFO role within the real estate, infrastructure, or investment sector.

Strong understanding of project finance, capital markets, and regulatory frameworks.

Proven leadership in managing large teams and multi-project financial operations.
