We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Design Engineer with expertise in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) design and development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing custom machinery, and ensuring projects meet performance, quality, and safety standards.

Job Details:
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements and define project scope.

Design and develop custom machinery and equipment, covering mechanical, electrical, and software components.

Create detailed designs, prototypes, and models using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Interact with customers for new projects or design-related clarifications.

Conduct final inspections after manufacturing completion, prior to dispatch.

Address customer queries during site/company visits and engage in technical discussions with suppliers.

Develop and implement control systems, including programming and integration of sensors, actuators, and automation components.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal policies.

Troubleshoot and optimize machine performance to improve efficiency.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including designs, test results, and specifications.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance design capabilities.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

Proven experience in SPM machine design, development, and implementation.

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles.

Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and programming languages (e.g., C++, Python).

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have:

Experience with automation technologies (e.g., PLCs, robotics).

Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).

Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) principles.

Certification in machine design or related fields.
