They are niche technology solutions firm offering products and services for the upstream (E&P) oil and gas SME sector. Their expertise has historically been in services (Business Intelligence / Data warehousing / Enterprise Application Integration, Custom solutions, Mobile applications), and they are currently developing some cutting-edge products of their own. Their senior management and technical architects are from IITs and IIMs / Top US MBA schools and the team has extensive experience in Oil and Gas with deep technology expertise. Our Client has different office locations like Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Atlanta, Houston and Bangalore (India).

You are a whiz at product marketing and have led a successful product launch with a hand in all facets of the process, including demand generation, analysis, content creation, product positioning, writing case studies and evangelizing to industry influencers and analysts.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Influence and support product management on the go-to-market strategy for upcoming major product release and execute a successful product launch.
  • Drive the competitive positioning and detailed messaging for products and services and ensure stories are powerfully and consistently communicated across all channels, including digital, sales teams, product content, product demos and collateral
  • Deeply analyze and understand customers, buyers, market trends and competition using data analysis, surveys, in-depth interviews, and other research methods
  • Collaborate with product management on pricing, packaging and product portfolio positioning to increase market share and achieve company goals
  • Empower marketing demand generation and sales teams to meet their goals with powerful tools, messages, and content that helps drive buyer decisions
  • Create an executive level and front-line support for product strategies, messages, and launch plans
  • Orchestrates a robust content engine that supports cross-channel and drives multiple integrated campaigns. Responsible for ideating to the creation of videos, whitepapers, webinars, digital content assets, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate should be from a premium institute only (IIM/ IIT/ NIT or BIT’s)
  • 5 years of B2B Product Marketing experience that includes leading all aspects of a successful product launch  
  • Experience with Marketo, WordPress, SalesForce, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
  • Solid writing ability with experience in content creation and authoring case studies
  • Strong problem solving and analytical ability, with a track record of “test & learn” mindset
  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences, from C-level to entry-level, internal and external
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to create business results in a fast-paced environment
  • A customer-centric view with a passion for gaining customer insights and translating insights into strategies
  • Strong affinity for sales team success, prior sales experience a plus
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines and objectives
