Job Description:-
A growing PCBA Tooling and Precision Machine shop, servicing High Tech industries, is seeking a Software Developer. The software developer should have a good understanding of application lifecycle development and strong understanding of object-oriented development principles. The developer will provide application development support with experience in Microsoft .NET framework. Support will include program development for the windows/web-based application utilizing MS solution including MS Visual Studio, C#.NET, ASP.net, SQL Server and scripting. This effort involves detailed analysis of the current system, program revisions, maintenance, enhancements and post implementation support of the application/ system/ database utilizing an Agile Approach.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in designing, coding, and supporting windows/web applications using technologies such as ASP.NET, C#,SQL SERVER and IIS.
- Designing and implementing improvements to the performance, usability, scalability, and maintainability of our software products
- Work with Database programming including SQL Queries, read, writes and updates
- Write well-documented code, and maintain existing software applications
- Provide technical assistance and support as needed
- Work both individually and as part of a team
- Run scheduled and ad-hoc reports as required
EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Proficiency in use of Visual Studio 2012 or newer and MS SQL Server - REQUIRED
- 5+ years of programming experience in C#.NET/ASP.NET framework - REQUIRED
- 5+ years of experience in writing SQL queries including stored procedures and
- user-defined functions, etc.
- Web development experience using HTML5, CSS, Java script and JQuery is highly desired
- Strong working knowledge of IIS,.NET framework architecture and GUI usability
- Experience in creating Web APIs using .Net is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of web services using SOAP/ REST/ JSON
- Familiarity with Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services and/or Dot Net Nuke is a plus
