Job Responsibilities:
Listed below are some key responsibilities and eligibility criteria for the position of iOS Team Leader
The applicant will lead a small team of two developers and will be responsible for the whole iOS application from the beginning to the end of the application life cycle. This includes discussing new feature ideas, design concepts, managing sprints, development, code review, testing, and deployment. You will be supported by our internal QA team who will help you qualify each release, making sure it's stable for clients to use. You will report directly to the CTO and company founder who will help you get settled in and will be there to support you in your responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
- Have worked and built iOS applications on phones and tablets
- Understand threading to make the app more responsive
- Experience with Cocoapods
- Experience with JSON RESTful APIs and Frameworks
- Developed apps for iOS 9
- Have built and can demo applications on the AppStore
- Experience with GIT
- APNS (Apple Push Notification)
- Profiling and Adhoc Distribution knowledge (TestFlight)
- Ability to manage a full release cycle (they do weekly releases)
- Great communicator - the team is constantly using Slack and you should be transparent about your work
- Have an obsession with attention to detail
Nice to have skills:
- Knowledge/Interest in Swift is a big plus
- Experience with AutoLayout (SnapKit)
- Experience with Unit testing
- Experience using the Gitlab CI
- Knowledge of CouchBase Lite
- Experience with complex infrastructures is a plus
