We are hiring for a Level Designer for one of our leading IT Clients. The incumbent will be responsible to interpret the original concept of the game as briefed by the Game Designer

Key Responsibilities/Skills:  

Drive product development by working closely with business/product/program teams and understanding their priorities/roadmap

1. Interpret the original concept of the game as briefed by the Game Designer
2. Work from storyboards to create the level structure
3. Write document listing assets, objectives and layout of each level
4. Sketch and map out each level
5. Render each level to 3D environment
6. Plot and map out sequences of action within the level
7. Create entry and exit points for each level
8. Determine where the player will encounter characters & objects within the level

Skill Requirements:

1. Software’s or other tools for candidates to have experience working on Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator)
2. Other required skills are Maya, Unity, Unreal Engine, C, C++, Artistic talent
3. The candidate must have Storytelling skills, a Methodical mindset, Knowledge of architectural principles
4. Ability to transform 2D concepts to 3D objects
5. Understanding of how objects respond to the laws of physics
6. Deep understanding of gameplay and game engagement
7. Programming knowledge
8. Problem-solving ability
