We are looking for Manager AR position for one of our leading clients from Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for Income Booking, Collection Posting, Cheque Returns

Job Details:

Roles and responsibilities -

Income Booking

1. Recording revenue transactions generated from sales of goods.
2. Applying appropriate revenue recognition principles based on the company's accounting policies and recognized revenue standards (GAAP or IFRS).

Collection Posting

Receiving and relating customer payments to the corresponding customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely allocation to outstanding invoices.

Cheque Returns

1. Checking and tracking cheque payments status received from customers.
2. Tracking and notify customers on returned cheques and coordinate for alternative payments.

Reconciliation

1. Checking regular reconciliations of accounts receivable balances with vendor statements and general ledger.
2. Preparing reports on reconciliation results to ensure accurate financial statements.
