The Manufacturing Services Reporting Specialist is a team contributor focused on backend support for the IT services within the Operational Technology (OT) environment. This role is instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of critical data collection system components.

Job Details:

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Configure and fine-tune reporting structures within checkMK or similar systems to capture and monitor the status of critical IT services in the OT environment.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define parameters for monitoring new and existing data collection system components.
3. Lead the creation and maintenance of team processes for seamlessly adding or updating services in the reporting structures, ensuring accuracy and completeness
4. Develop and implement automated alert structures triggered by status changes, enabling proactive response and issue resolution
5. Generate regular reports providing comprehensive insights into system performance, efficiency, and areas for improvement
6. Utilize Power BI or similar data representation software to craft visually engaging dashboards for effective communication of key metrics to stakeholders
7. Work closely with IT and OT teams to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and incorporate feedback into ongoing configuration enhancements
8. • Document problems, solutions, and project results within the area of responsibility

 

Education and Experience:

1. 4 year (Bachelor's degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or equivalent discipline preferred.
2. Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
3. Basic programming and scripting skills, with a willingness to learn and expand technical capabilities
4. Knowledge of IT systems, networks, and databases in a manufacturing context is a plus
5. Effective communication skills for collaborating with global teams and presenting insights.
6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
7. Extra consideration given for candidates with Certifications in Power BI or Relevant certifications in programming languages (Python preferred)
