Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Listed below are the roles and responsibilities for the position of Network Engineer.
• User administration (setup and maintaining account)
• Monitor system performance and maintaining system
• The Candidate must verify that peripherals are working properly
• Quickly arrange the repair for hardware in the occasion of hardware failure
• Create file systems and Install the software
• Create a backup and recovery policy
• Monitor network communication
• Update system as soon as the new version of OS and application software comes out
• Implement the policies for the use of the computer system and network
• Setup security policies for users. A system admin must have a strong grasp of computer security (e.g. firewalls and intrusion detection systems)
• Password and identity management and CCTV monitoring
• Interaction with IT coordinator and Bill follow-ups
• Must good knowledge in network troubleshoot and configuration
• The candidate must have basic knowledge about the mail server
• The candidate must have a good attitude and must be a strong decision maker
