Key Accountabilities:
- Under minimal direction, develop, implement and support technical solutions on Oracle SOA and related technologies and products
- Responsible for the design, development, configuration, installation, and implementation of the environment for Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Oracle SOA Suite and other related components in a High availability Environment.
- Work with infrastructure team members (Network, Security, Server Management, EM Team, DBA, Storage and Unix Administrators) to build and deliver services in a stable and secure multi-instance hosting environment
- Install applications from development and test environments into a production environment
- Ensure that the Production system is available and on an on-going basis with a minimum of disruption and Perform routine system maintenance.
- Monitor the middleware server system performance and analyse statistics to identify and help resolve problems or system inefficiencies.
- Apply application support packages as required from software suppliers.
- Prepare a detailed deployment work plan for the release and support installation of the release in the field environment.
- Prepare relevant documentations including design documents, architectural document, status reports etc. per project/assignment requirements
Key Responsibilities/Skills:
- Excellent understanding of design patterns, object construction and application architecture strategies
- Ability to work with both functional and technical personnel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience in Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c and OSB 11g/12c (Web Services, BPEL, Mediators, Business Rules, Event Delivery Network and MDS)
- Hands-on experience with the entire software development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing)
- Hands-on experience on Fusion middleware is a MUST
- Hands-on experience on SOAP and RESTful web services using SB and SOA is a MUST
- Hands-on experience on XML, JSON, XSLT, XSD and XQuery is a MUST
- Hands-on experience on developing Java Callouts using Java is MUST
- Hands-on experience on Oracle J Developer and Eclipse
- Hands-on experience on Oracle Database, SQL and developing PL/SQL packages and procedures is a must
- Hands-on experience on Transformations (using XQuery & XSLT/ Transport /Design of service message flows / Service Orchestration
- Hands-on experience on using File Adapter, Database Adapter, FTP adapter, MQ Adapter and JMS Adapter for integration using Oracle Service Bus
- Familiarity with testing tools such as SoapUI and Postman
