Job Responsibilities:

Listed below are some key responsibilities and eligibility criteria for the position of PHP Web Application Developer

1. Analyze requirements and propose software solutions to solve problems.
2. Develop layouts and prototypes to ensure the solution meets requirements.
3. Write well-structured and testable code following the set guidelines.
4. Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software bugs.
5. Provide operational support for production applications.
6. Integrate multiple systems from different vendors with the seamless data flow.
7. Investigate new technologies and continue to update your technical skills.
8. Write quality source code to be delivered on time, which meets defined project standards and deadlines.
9. Perform unit testing on source code where required, prior to handover to test/ quality assurance teams.
10. Perform maintenance on source code, analyzing and fixing bugs where necessary.
11. Periodically design and implement custom enhancements for specific customer requirements.
12. Perform occasional evaluation of new technologies and methodologies for use within the projects to be developed.
13. Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Abides by all Company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

1. Must be proficient in PHP, MySQL, Ms SQL, HTML, CSS, jQuery.
2. MVC frameworks – Zend, Laravel, CodeIgniter or CakePHP.
3. Must be proficient in writing stored procedures.
4. The added advantage would be given to Proficient in at least one of the popular CMS (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Dolphin, Magento or Os Commerce).
5. Creating technical specifications.
6. Experience with CRM systems like Vtiger SugarCRM will be preferred.
7. Experience with javascript frameworks like React, AngularJS, BackboneJS will be preferred.
8. Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.
9. Thoroughness and attention to detail.
10. The ability to work both in a team and alone and to manage your own workload.
11. An ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly.
12. An awareness of current issues affecting the industry and its technologies.
