We are hiring a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python, AWS (Amazon Web Services), and both SQL and NoSQL databases. This role is ideal for experienced backend engineers who are passionate about cloud computing, serverless architecture, and scalable web application development.
You will play a hands-on role in building robust backend systems and APIs, while also working with global stakeholders in a dynamic and flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement high-performance, scalable backend systems

Develop clean, reusable, and testable Python code
-
Integrate server-side logic with front-end components
-
Deploy and manage cloud-based applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other AWS services
-
Manage and optimize SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) databases
-
Monitor and optimize application performance and AWS cloud costs
-
Participate in system design discussions, architecture reviews, and Agile ceremonies

Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews
-
Follow DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes

Ensure security best practices are followed in all stages of development
Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Minimum 4+ years of backend development experience
-
3+ years of hands-on Python programming

Strong experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3)

Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming

Proficient in managing both relational and non-relational databases
-
Experience with containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes

Understanding of DevOps tools, CI/CD, and cloud monitoring tools

Security-first mindset in web application development

Experience with test-driven development (TDD), unit, integration, and e2e testing
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Preferred Experience

Experience developing large-scale distributed systems

Exposure to Serverless architecture using AWS

Background in remote work culture and offshore client interaction

Ability to lead sprints, conduct architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers
