Responsibilities
? Define and build overall data design and modeling across all of the organization's data systems.
? Data management across multiple data systems: data governance, data mastering, meta- data management, data definitions, symantec-layer design, data taxonomies and ontologies.
? Architecting and delivering highly-scalable and flexible, cost-effective enterprise data solutions.
? Anticipate future technology requirements and communicate those to the leadership and multi-functional teams.
? Understand the current state of the organization-wide architecture.
? Identify key business drivers and technology capabilities required to achieve optimal state. ? Coordinate with collaborator teams and own the conversation to define use cases, goals, objectives, and architecture to support the business needs.
Required Skills:
? Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience, out of which 2 years of solid work experience in Microservice.
? Strong experience in Database Administration in SQL Server ( 2008 R2, 2016 and 2017) and Manage Cloud Based SQ Server (AWS/AZURE - RDS).
? Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
? Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
? Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
? Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication.
? Expert experience in implementing operational automation.
? Strong knowledge of how indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching. How statistics work, how indexes are stored, how they can be created and managed effectively.
? Knowledge of SQL Server tools (Profiler, DTA, SSMS, SAC, SSCM, PerfMon, DMVs, system sprocs)
? SQL Development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (storedprocs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints)
? Solid acquaintance with windows server, security delegation, SPNs, storage components.
