Key Responsibilities/Skills:  

1. Design and implement highly scalable, interactive web applications with high usability
2. Design and implement backend application interfaces for data and services
3. Collaborate with business analysts to define software requirements for programming effort
4. Support production software operations, test and debug programs
5. Report progress and status of assigned tasks to project teams and managers
6. Provide technical leadership and motivation to junior developers
7. Work collaboratively in a fast-growing startup building products and services for positive social impact
8. Implementing an elegant, intuitive user experience using the latest front-end technologies
9. Implementing server-side code and designing the data architecture using modern web frameworks

Skill Requirements:

1. Strong technical background in NodeJS, AngularJS, MongoDB, Node, Express, REST with JSON, developing APIs., JavaScript, HTML and CSS., Angular JS 1.6 and higher, HTML5, CSS3 -, GitHub, JIRA
2. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude, Attention to detail., Good communication skills.
3. Proficiency in NoSQL databases (MongoDB), specifically performance, modularization, and maintainability
4. Proficiency in building modular applications
5. Knowledgeable on Microservices and/or Service-Oriented Architecture
6. Knowledgeable of security principles (OWASP)
7. Basic understanding of templating languages (EJS, Jade, etc)
8. Basic understanding of build tools (Gulp, Grunt)
9. Basic understanding of scripting deployment tasks with tools like Strider, Ansible or others
10. Basic understanding of pre-processors (Sass, Babel, etc.)
11. Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, ES5+)
12. Previous experience working in the maps and Service industry is expected.
13. Problem-solving and decision-making skills
14. Teamwork and Leadership skills
15. Prior experience working in a Team environment is Mandatory.
