We are looking for Senior Quality Assurance in Delhi location. The candidate is responsible for client inspection as well as in process activities during fabrication/ machining.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Notice Period: Immediate (Preference) or Up to 30 days MAX

Mode of Interview: Face to face HR Round

Key Responsibilities/Skills:  

1. Responsible for client inspection as well as in process activities during fabrication/ machining
2. Total responsibility of report preparation
3. Preparation of Documents as per IS & ASME Standards.
4. Monitor the client inspection & third-party inspection.
5. In process inspection with non-destructive & destructive testing
6. Reviewing quality documents such as quality control plan, procedures jobs and their approval from the client.
7. To Review Mill Test certificate (MTC) as per applicable PO. TDC and material specifications.
8. Raising and Resolving Non-conformance Reports.
9. Co-ordination with third party inspector & client inspector for stage inspection & welding activities.
10. Inspection of surface preparation & painting as per requirement.
11. Inspection & documents reviewing at the subcontractors & vendor end.
12. Preparation of all packing lists of the jobs before dispatching.
13. Monitoring & control of following welding process in the shop according to welding procedure specification.
    1. Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW).
    2. Submerge metal arc welding (SAW).

Skills Required:

1. Knowledge of codes, standards & fabrication
2. Knowledge of welding process and procedures, WPS- PQR, SMAW, SAW, MIG
3. Thorough knowledge of DT and NDT testing
4. Skilled in reading mechanical drawings
5. Has knowledge of mechanical instruments
6. Knowledge of surface preposition and painting with EN codes.
7. Awareness of Belt Conveyor, Pipe Conveyor, Stacker and Reclaimer.
8. Awareness of heat treatment of materials, post heat treatment, pre heat etc.
9. Knowledge of cold handling plants, ash handling plants, cement plants & steel plants
10. Not required from automobile sector

Technical Skills:-

1. Auto cad 2D
2. MS Excel
3. Operating System- Windows XP, Windows 7, 8 & 10
4. Microsoft Office Key Skills:-
5. Good communication skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team with focus on the goal.
7. Quick learner, highly motivated and hardworking.
