This position is for a Senior Simulation Engineer, responsible to provide technical leadership to our FEA modeling and simulation team. The responsibility includes providing pre and post sales customer support, training, hand holding, mentoring and problem resolution to our internal team as well as customers. The person will also be responsible for helping build a technical consultancy practice with FEA modeling activity.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:
- Interact directly with customers to understand, train and motivate them for adoption of simulation techniques in their Product Development Process
- Assist clients using ANSYS products in all phases of analysis; from correct posting of the problem, solution and interpretation of the results leading to improved productivity and satisfaction with ANSYS simulation products
- Interact with customers to help diagnose issues, as well as find solutions to a wide variety of complex problems
- Develop simulation best practices, solutions, FAQs for knowledge base
- Provide training to customers and assist Sales and Presales team to grow the business based on the skill set and expertise
- Evolve scope of technical consultancy projects by discussing with customer. Perform time and cost estimations
- Provide technical leadership to FEA modeling activity
- Communicate and present regular project updates to the leadership team
Skill Requirements:
- Sound understanding of engineering fundamentals like structural mechanics, applied mechanics, strength of material, machine design, finite element analysis, numerical methods etc.
- Should have knowledge about Structural linear & Non-linear analysis, Thermal analysis, Vibration and Dynamic analysis, Metaphysics analysis using ANSYS.
- Should be able to handle technical consultancy projects for FEA modeling independently, as well as along with team.
- Hands on experience of at least 4 years with a commercial simulation software package such as ANSYS in solving structural dynamics problems
- Programming skills: C /Python/MATLAB
- Ability to work independently, as well as with others in a diverse team environment
- Excellent Communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Must have customer service aptitude and maintain customer focus
