We are hiring for a Senior Technical Consultant for one of our leading IT Clients from Chennai. The candidate as Senior Technical Consultant will work with team & coordinate closely with our client’s regional services teams to engage with clients & deliver remote consultancy.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:  

1. Works under the guidance of an Lead Technical Architect (LTA) in specific &/or identified technical/architectural layers of TEMENOS products in a client engagement.
2. Participates in client driven Technical Design Authority (or equivalent) groups with an LTA to learn & provide technical inputs as needed on specific topics or queries raised by clients.
3. Works with an LTA to absorb specific responsibilities covering aspects of reliability, stability, performance of TEMENOS products in a client engagement.
4. Provides regular update and feedback to the project LTA about technical problems that may arise during implementation of TEMENOS products to support continuous improvement of the products and implementation methodology
5. Identifies technical risks and issues from specific areas of expertise associated with the implementation of TEMENOS products and develops effective mitigation or avoidance measures
6. Provides clear and concise technical documentation for internal and external use
7. Thrives to specialize in multiple TEMENOS Technology Framework Products
8. Transfers knowledge effectively and mentors other Consultants from TEMENOS & Partner organizations, promoting adherence to TEMENOS methodologies and quality standards
9. Performs such other duties, functions and services, consistent with status or vocational ability, as may from time to time be required.

Skills Required:

1. BE/BTech/MCA candidates with a minimum of 6 years of experience in solutions architecture or software technical consultancy
2. Experience in a core/retail banking solution with other banking solution providers, a technical operations role in a bank or in a consulting environment
3. Experience in a front-end client facing role is a nice to have
4. Experience of working in or supporting T24 implementation projects adhering to standard TEMENOS Implementation methodology is a nice to have.
5. Technical Knowledge (expected to specialize in at least 2 areas below):
   • Industry standard product architecture, technical frameworks & deployment topologies.
   • Knowledge of networking components in enterprise landscape.
   • DBA level expertise or knowledge in at least one RDBMS (Oracle/MSSQL/PostGRE SQL/NuoDB).
   • Good understanding of digital & channel banking application & architecture.
   • Good knowledge of middleware components & ESB integration.
6. Working knowledge in any of the following systems: T24, Misys, Flexcube, or equivalent core/retail banking applications
   • Knowledge of non-Transact products would also be a nice to have.
7. Understanding of banking technical infrastructure to support Temenos solutions
