Job Title: Area Sales Manager

 

Location: Tamil Nadu, Chennai (Head Quarter)

Reporting to: Sales Head

Experience: 10 Years

Salary: Max up to 8 LPA

 

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (any field) with a diploma or certificate in Sales Management is a must. Along with a Master’s degree or equivalent would be a plus

Job Responsibilities:

Listed below are some key responsibilities and eligibility criteria for the position of Area Sales Manager

  1. The candidate will have to independently manage and look after the entire state as mentioned above. Expert knowledge of Distributors, Market, and Geographical area. Should be capable of dealing with and handling multicultural zones, diverse group of customers and markets
  2. Reaching the targets and goals set by the higher management of the concerned area assigned. Manage the channel partners/ distributors through lucrative opportunities for their long-term sustainability and profitability of the business
  3. The candidate must have strong analytical mind for strategizing and devising sales strategies and techniques necessary for increasing business opportunities also achieving the sales targets. Maintaining and increasing sales of Industrial Bakery products as per company norms
  4. Excellent team management skills are required to manage a team of more than 40+ people. To be able to recruit, lead, motivate, develop, coach and ensure that the team is delivering desired results. Provide them with required training (such as Field training)

Job Requirements:

  1. Maximum up to 10 years of proven experience as an ASM, selling food products (specifically baked products) in Tamil Nadu Region
  2. Proven track record of increased market share. Proven leadership skills, achievement data, and statistics is a must
  3. Punctual and highly disciplined. Proven experience of hiring new team members, creating, developing and coaching the newly formed team

OTHER SKILLS

  1. Strong and effective communication skills
  2. Must be willing to travel up to 70% of work schedule
