Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Listed below are the roles and responsibilities of the Chief Technical Officer.
• Co-ordinating with clients and resolving all the issues
• Direct experience with anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
• Experience designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods
• Experience planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures
• Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications
• Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management
• Ability to read and use the results of mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software
• Strong understanding of endpoint security solutions to include File Integrity Monitoring and Data Loss Prevention
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
• Researching the intended target via both open-source and dark-web channels
• Scanning target networks and systems with commercial, open-source, or custom vulnerability scanners
• Designing a plan of attack that can include exploiting software vulnerabilities, systemic vulnerabilities, social manipulation, or any combination of those factors
• Install and use the software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect organizations’ sensitive information.
• Assist computer users with installation or processing of new security products and procedures.
• Conducts periodic scans of networks to find any vulnerability.
• Conduct penetration testing, in which they simulate an attack on the system to highlight or find any weaknesses that might be exploited by a malicious party.
• Monitor their organization’s networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions.
• Investigate Security Breaches lead a technical and forensic investigation
• Prepare reports of their findings to be reported to management.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline with an IT focus is required.
• Exceptional experience with IT security related certification may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 years' of recent IT related experience is preferred.
• Experience in at least one of the following: system/network administration, database administration, systems analysis, and/or programming is required.
• Experience in environments subject to regulatory requirements like NERC CIP or PCI is preferred.
• CEH Certification GPEN OSCP
Job perks: 20,000 to 30,000 per month.
