Responsibilities :

  • Understanding company’s mission and philosophy
  • Conduct high-quality research and conversations/interviews with the team / project heads etc. to derive sharp insights that can be leveraged
  • Developing high-quality website content on a consistent basis for companys undergraduate and graduate programmes.
  • Developing supporting materials for the brand development of the university
  • Writing, editing and proofreading content for a variety of communication purposes
  • Developing highly effective, original and targeted marketing content for the promotion of the university
  • Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns, landing pages, social media projects, print ads, brochures, prospectus etc.)
  • Working across departments at the University to write and edit creative materials for promotions and direct marketing
  • Using and maintaining the correct tone of voice consistent with the brand guidelines
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the target audience

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a content writer in outreach/marketing/advertising/journalism or a related field
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual ability and originality
  • Should ideally have experience of working with a design partner on visualizing concepts and then penning them down based on the designers inputs
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong research skills, creativity, collaborative spirit
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Experience with SEO friendly copy is an added advantage
