We are hiring for a GIS Developer for one of our leading IT Clients. The incumbent should have good knowledge of JAVA, JAVA Frameworks (Spring / Hibernate ), Open source frameworks, web services, and scripting (JavaScript, Ext JS, Angular JS, HTML, XML, OOA, and OOD Concepts), Tomcat application servers. Eclipse, GIT, PUTTY. FME.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:  

1. Will work under the guidance of the Tech Lead
2. Thoroughly understand the Requirements and Design.
3. Develop detailed design for implementation
4. Design and implement the automated unit testing framework as required
5. Use best practices and coding standards.
6. Conduct thorough unit testing using the automated unit test framework
7. Conduct peer-reviews and lead reviews and provide feedback
8. Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, enhance and document components developed by self and others as per the requirements and detailed design
9. Conduct thorough unit testing and integration/system testing for the whole system
10. Own one or more modules of the project(s) for development
11. Need to have GIS experience

Education:

1. Engineering / MCA / Post Graduate
2. Certification(s) in JAVA
3. 5+ Years of relevant industry experience in Full stack development work with GIS experience
4. Worked in Support model

Skill Requirements:

1. Hands-on Software Development, in a SPA framework such as Angular or React - Modern JavaScript. And Javascript-based Technology Stack
2. Experience working with databases (Mongo/Postgres/MySQL)
3. Strong understanding of Data Structures
4. Working knowledge of Git + GitFlow, Jira, BitBucket, CI/CD pipeline
5. Agile Development experience with Tech Lead or Scrum Master role
6. Understanding of REST principles in building API's
7. API design experience using Open API (Swagger)
8. Express.JS
9. Willing to learn and adopt new technologies where and when applicable.
