Role:
Manager, Sales - 1 position
• Location: CHENNAI (This Sales Manager will have to visit Pune office for regular Sales
Review, e.g., approximately around once in 45 days.)
• Age: Max 35 Years
• Probable number of direct reporting persons: Nil (at this point of time.)
• Qualification: B.E. Mechanical / MBA preferred / Sales background
• Reporting to: MD or any person appointed by MD (Local Sales Manager at Pune) + China Sales Director

12. Prior experience in selling high value presses / capital equipment will be an asset

2. Excellent skill on MS office suite inclusive of MS Excel and Power Point Presentations
Job Description:
1. To be accountable for all aspects in Sales domain New Presses: Stamping &
cutting presses, press lines, blanking lines, press automation
2. To contribute to the Top line, through the Sales of New Presses by Meticulous & Forward
Planning of Sales of New Presses through Mapping Installed Base and New Opportunities
Responsibilities: (tasks & duties of this particular role)
1. Develop Revenue & Budget / Plan for the sales
2. Continuously generating new enquiries, new business leads
3. Plan & visit clients: cold / exploratory sales calls, prepare client specific presentation
4. Study ‘request for quotation’ & prepare the quotes with the help from Chinese counterpart
5. Deliver quotations promptly and professionally via email / Personal Meeting etc.
6. Submit visit & work reports in prescribed visit report formats, in time.
7. Active participate and lead in negotiations
8. Generate business through purchase orders
9. Manage and track customer orders: from the purchase to final shipping
10. Map Installations of Company in India and continuously update the installation data base
11. Perform business market analyses to determine customer needs and new opportunities.
Internal Reviews:
12. Monthly / Quarterly / Half Yearly & Annual Updates and Review
13. Actual Sales Vs. Targeted Sales (Shortfall / Overshot)
14. Total Request For Quotations Received Vs. Resolved Requests reports
15. Visit updates and visit reports
Other:
16. Ensure Representation / Participation in Global Sales Meets at all Levels.
17. Manage Company’s Global Professional’s visits to India: visas / invitation letters / travel and
stay arrangements with help of admin person.
18. Must maintain confidentiality of data in line with the code of conduct.
