To ensure smooth, efficient, and quality-driven production of NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) automotive components by optimizing manufacturing processes, adhering to production schedules, and driving continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Job Details:

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, organize, and monitor daily production operations for NVH components

2. Ensure adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules

3. Maintain process parameters as per SOPs and quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001)

4. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective actions

5. Implement Lean Manufacturing practices such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, and Poka-Yoke

6. Conduct root cause analysis for defects, process deviations, and production losses

7. Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) regulations

8. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth production flow

9. Prepare and maintain production reports, downtime analysis, OEE, yield, and scrap data

10. Train and guide shop-floor operators and technicians on standard work and process improvements

Key Skills & Competencies

1. Strong knowledge of NVH manufacturing processes: molding, extrusion, bonding, assembly

2. Hands-on experience in production planning, process control, and line balancing

3. Sound understanding of Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, Poka-Yoke

4. Knowledge of quality tools: SPC, FMEA, 7 QC Tools

5. Strong problem-solving skills using 5 Why, Ishikawa, Root Cause Analysis

6. Good communication, coordination, and team-handling abilities

7. Working knowledge of Advanced Excel

Education & Experience

1. Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or Industrial Engineering

2. Experience: 4–7 years in production operations

   (Preference: Automotive NVH / Rubber / Plastic / Foam manufacturing)

3. Certifications/Knowledge Preferred: IATF 16949, ISO 14001
